These panels adorn the door of my studio from which I work. They are done on cement sheeting and have been inserted into recesses left especially for the panels when the studio was being built. These are the mosaic panels on either side of my studio. The left hand side is floral because I don't have many flowers in my drought stricken garden so I just look at these when I need a floral lift! The other side is water and desert with geckos climbing upwards. Both panels are made from ceramic tiles, glass beads, old crockery, mirror and handmade tiles, figures and beads. There is even a fantastic handmade plate my youngest son Joel made when he was at school just below the handmade sun in the top left hand corner. These panels really brighten up my garden and the studio, (which was built by my husband and a local builder) has certainly inspired me to do more mosaics.
